About
The professional association was founded in 1975 as an association of teachers and students of textile teaching in all educational institutions for textile teaching in order to represent the interests of the subject. Since then the circle of members has expanded significantly. Today the association offers a platform for those interested in textiles and textile professionals from education, crafts, textile art, industry, trade and culture. It is a non-profit association and has played a key role in maintaining textile education in society since its founding.
The trade association sees it as its task to ensure relevance
– of textiles in culture, society, environment and health

– studying textile science
